Discover what you need to know about getting started with fertility treatment
When you need a little help conceiving, the team at our Cedar Park fertility practice can help. Madeline Kaye MD of Texas Fertility Center offers the tools to diagnose and treat both female and male infertility, making dreams of parenthood come true. Our team understands that you probably have a lot of questions as a new fertility patient. To help you with getting started with fertility treatment, we have created this helpful guide.
What you need to know about getting started with fertility treatment
Your first step as a new fertility patient is to call our Cedar Park fertility practice to schedule a new patient appointment. A member of our office staff will collect your insurance information so that we can verify your benefits before your appointment. To help make your first visit go smoothly, we will also ask you to visit our website to complete new patient forms. Our goal is to help you get all the paperwork out of the way so you can just focus on getting started with fertility treatment at your first visit.
When it comes time for your appointment, Dr. Kaye will get to know you and your partner. She’ll ask about both of your medical histories, including any previous pregnancies or pregnancy attempts. Dr. Kaye will also take time to discuss your family-building goals.
Your appointment as a new fertility patient will also be a time for you to ask questions. Dr. Kaye wants you to feel informed and empowered as you start your fertility treatment journey with Texas Fertility Center.
Taking the next steps after your first visit as a new fertility patient
As your appointment comes to a close, Dr. Kaye will recommend tests to diagnose what could be making it difficult to conceive. She may also make treatment recommendations at this time. However, she may wait until your diagnostic test results come back before making any suggestions.
Finally, you will check out with a medical assistant who will go over your next steps and make sure you have all the paperwork you need. You’ll also get the contact information for your nurse at our Cedar Park fertility practice.
We know you’ve been through a lot on your journey to conceive, so we want to make it easy as you’re getting started with fertility treatments. We invite you to contact us and learn how the Texas Fertility Center team can help you bring home a healthy baby.
